The BIBLE states, “Your blood be on your own head. Your own mouth testified against you when you said, I killed the Lord’s anointed.” (II Samuel 1:15) How do you avoid being sinful? Get up on the Blood of JESUS CHRIST and stay there until HE washes you whiter than snow! If not, “YOUSE Guilty by YO own BIG MOUTH?”
BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:
In this story, king Saul attempted to commit suicide but the job was not complete as he wounded himself and he did not have the strength to complete the task. While, he leaned upon his sword, a young man (an Amalekite) was passing by. Saul asked the young man to finish the job and (without hesitation) he did! Be careful when you’re casually passing by folks as you may be in for a big surprise and be careful about the tasks you take on.
What’s the significance of “ YOUSE Guilty by YO own BIG MOUTH?” One hundred (100%) percent of the whole World is guilty of one thing or another. By his own admission, the young Amalekite said, “I was on Mt. Gilboa and there was Saul…” Therefore, the young man knew exactly what he was doing as he admitted, “I killed the Lord‘s anointed!”
Please note that you are not alone but don’t lie to yourself as if you are innocent. Literally, you may not have cut someone’s throat but you stabbed them in the back with a plastic fork. YO jealousies, envies, cowardice, ill-wills, and cunning devices caused others to fail. Youse killed the joy, happiness, and expectations for the success of others. In doing so you are no better than a murderer (like the young Amalekite).
A religious song states “What a fellowship, what a joy divine, leaning on the ever lasting arms…..” We are talking about the Arms of the ALMIGHTY GOD! As the song insinuates, don’t lean upon others…don’t lean on what you know…and don’t lean on what you think is right…” Instead lean upon the LORD JESUS CHRIST! Furthermore, the WORD states, “In all thy ways acknowledge GOD and HE will direct your path…”
In the Black vernacular, “Youse guilty the second the sinful thought enters YO head…“ At this point, you ain’t physically sinned but the passion to sin show’s present. For example: if you see the opposite sex and you are burning with desire for him/her, “Youse done sinned in YO heart…”
Have a Blessed Day!
