Worldwide News: “What’s GOOD about being ALIVE?”

Prophet JOB said,  “Naked came I out of my mother’s womb and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. In all this Job sinned not, nor charged GOD foolishly.” (Job 1:21-22) This message is for somebody out there who feels they have no reason to live meaning no spiritual, mental, or physical net worth! HOLD ON A MINUTE!  You are not the first nor the last person to feel this way but you need some encouragement as self-destruction and suicide is not the answer!  I have an old friend who’s uncle committed suicide BUT while he was still alive he looked into the other World (Hell) and said, “Oh no, I’ve made a mistake!”  Then he gave up the ghost! If the departed uncle could come back, he would be writing this post with the message, “Live and Work for the LORD!”    DON’T YOU BE STUPID AND GIVE UP TO THE ENEMY!  The good news is that YOU ARE HERE – YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE – AND YOU HAVE ANOTHER CHANCE TO BE BETTER THAN YESTERDAY!

We all know the story about Prophet JOB (who unlike many of us) was a  “…perfect and upright man that feared GOD, and eschewed evil…”  (Job 1:2)  So now you’re asking, “WHY DID GOD ALLOW SUCH CALAMITIES TO FALL UPON JOB?”   Well now, GOD allowed these horrible circumstances to come upon Job for a reason!  To teach all mankind that:

In fact, Job told his wife (after she told him to curse God and die), “Thou speakest as one of the foolish women.  Shall we not receive good at the hand of God and shall we not receive evil?”  (Job 2:10)  Sometimes, people you trust will discourage you and/or cause you to sin.

Mr. and Mrs. Job were extremely wealthy as their estimated value for just the livestock was about $790,000.00 (7 thousand sheep; three thousand camels; 500 oxen; and 500 she asses). Moreover, Mr. and Mrs. Job had great substance, many servants, and each one of their adult children (seven sons and three daughters) lived in their own house and they had personal servants.  However, Job’s children were extremely lazy! Not one time do you read that they were in the fields helping Job or the servants.   Not one time do you read that they made offerings to God!  Instead, Job got up early in the morning to offer burnt offerings to GOD for his children!  The Bible says,  “Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts…”  (Job 1:5)   Here we have the  greatest  Man of the East (during his day) with an unbelieving wife and sorry-ass children who ate, drank, and sought the pleasurable things in life – they partied all the time!  In fact, they all died while feasting and they never knew what hit them;

And, the devil can not do any more than GOD allows!  As you know by now, the LORD JESUS arose from the grave with all power in HIS hands! Before the Lord JESUS came to this Earth, GOD was in control. While the unborn JESUS was in His Mother’s womb (for 9 months), GOD was in control as no hurt, harm, or danger came upon Virgin Mary or the unborn child. After the LORD’s birth, GOD was in control. Although king Herod sent out a declaration to kill innocent babies, GOD was in control. During the LORD’s stay on this Earth, GOD WAS STILL IN CONTROL. When JESUS was crucified, GOD WAS STILL IN CONTROL. After the LORD was three days and nights in the grave, GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD!  When CHRIST JESUS ascended on high, GOD WAS IN CONTROL and GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL!  There was (and is) no way the devil can destroy CHRIST JESUS! Moreover, there is no way the devil can destroy you unless you let him in!

We were created to worship, to fellowship, and to serve the LORD GOD; but some of us have strayed away from that purpose. If you are a believer, you have two wings: PRAYER and PRAISE.  With this in mind, you can fly your way out of any situation – if you have the faith. As you know, the Bible says, “…without faith, it is impossible to please GOD.”

Instead, many of us (not all) live to do our own thang and some of our thangs bring on sickness, disease, death, mental health, disturbances, aloofness, unemployment, alcoholism, addiction to drugs, lusty spirits which cause separation from family and friends. Eventually, sin leads to an untimely death! We are given free-will but we side-step GOD’s plan. We do things which make us feel good and we don’t care how others view us!  We tell onlookers, “…take a flying leap..”  However, we are the oddball or the cuckoo. The WORD of GOD says, “In all thy ways get an understanding and if any lacks this let him (or her) ask GOD for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding and HE will freely give it….”

My question is, “Have you asked GOD to take control of your life and to give you wisdom, knowledge, and understanding?”   If not, it is high time to re-program your life before it is too late! When you find the Lord GOD, you will know why HE placed you on the Earth! You’ll wake up each day saying, “IT IS GREAT BEING ALIVE!”

Have a Blessed Day!

Worldwide News: “Too Many NIMRODS!”

The Bible says, “And CUSH begat NIMROD who began to be a mighty one in the Earth. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD…And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh in the land of Shinar…”   (Genesis 10:8-10)  Where ever you go in the World, you will find ignorant NIMRODs seeking fame, power, control, riches, and glory in the name of the LIVING GOD!  Turn on the news because there are, “Too Many NIMRODS!”

By definition NIMROD  means  “…we shall rebel…”   Who was Nimrod? His father’s name was  CUSH (translated Ethiopia)  and his grandfather’s name was  HAM who was the son of the infamous, NOAH!   As Nimrod sat upon NOAH’s (his grandfather) lap, he heard many, many stories which were not make-believe. Certainly, Noah told him about the Deluge! Noah told Nimrod about the flood and the many lost of lives (including the eight souls spared) and the selected group of animals and fowls who were spared to live in the Ark. Undoubtedly, Noah told Nimrod about the fish and other sea life which survived in the sea.

Although NIMROD had a wonderful father and grandfather, he was a:

(1) rebel – a person who refuses allegiance to or resists; a person who rises in arms against the government or ruler(s); and a person who resists any authority(ties). Do you personally know any contemporary Nimrods and/or read about Nimrod-types who are persecuting, destroying, and killing others??????

(2) a builder of confusion – a spiritual, physical, emotional, and an ungodly resistor. Nimrod built monumental cities and united people to join his cause. He had a persuasive tongue and physical force to draw crowds  as he was a mighty man!    His first city was called Babel which means “confusion.”  As you know, Nimrod erected a tower in defiance to the Living GOD  who came down came down to see these people and  GOD changed their dialect of  “one universal”  language into “many” languages.   As a result, they (father/son, mother/daughter, husband/wife, brother/sister, etc)   could not understand one another and GOD scattered them all over the World!  To this day, we are still not understanding one another and we are scattered and divided in mind, body, and soul!

As stated in the Bible, Nimrod was a magnificent builder and mighty man but my question is, “What does it matter to gain the whole world and lose your soul?” Being the son of a religious or prominent man does not save one’s soul and it does not make you a godly man!   Killing and murdering innocent people do not make you great and neither does it make you right!  Did Nimrod make it to heaven ? I am not the judge and I don’t care to be!

My question is, “Will Constance make it to Heaven?”   May I ask you this question,  “Will you make it to Heaven?”   The next question we should ask ourselves is, “Am I obeying the Lord GOD of Heaven and Earth no matter what others are doing or not doing?”   If we all get in this attitude-check-mode and seek the LORD’S face, we will find the right answers to our problems!  Until then, there are, “Too Many NIMRODS!”

Have a Blessed Day!
