Worldwide News: PART II: “King David – How To Cleanse Your Ways!”

The Bible says,

(A) Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to Thy [GOD] word. With my whole heart have I sought Thee: O let me not wander from Thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee. Blessed art Thou, O LORD: teach me Thy statutes. ” (Psalm 119:9-12)

(B) It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn Thy statues. The law of Thy [GOD] mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.” (Psalm 119:71-72)

It’s time for us to accept the fact that there is a GOD and HE is a jealous GOD! No man can serve two masters! In fact, David learned that it was hard to serve God and women – we dare not talk about his king David’s son Solomon (who had one thousand wives/concubines). Unfortunately, there was no Viagra in that day so I will never understand how Solomon survived all of that!

We know that confession is good for the soul.  But do you know, this?  You ain’t got to go before a priest or rabbi to confess your sin(s) because we’ve been commanded to go directly to JESUS CHRIST!  Why should you confess to a priest or rabbi? Ain’t the priest or rabbi just a man (made out of the same dirt as all of us) and he is subject to the same sins and failures as the rest of us! In fact, the priest or rabbi may be more sinful than you suspect! In fact, many pastors are not true men of the faith! There’s always headliners about this pastor and that pastor who’ve sinned against the Word of God by committing adultery or taking money from the church, or involved in homosexuality affairs. Now, don’t you throw rocks at me because the Bible spells out the Commandments of GOD – I ain’t got no commandments to give you!

What did king David say?    He said, It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn Thy statues. The law of Thy [GOD] mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver.”

David said a mouth full! After king David strayed from GOD’s Word, he was afflicted and he admitted this to the entire World as it’s written the the Bible for us to read!

Thus, one good thing came out of David’s painful disease, he learned that GOD was not playing with him, “With my whole heart have I sought Thee: O let me not wander from Thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee. Blessed art Thou, O LORD: teach me Thy statutes. ”    Question: Does David’s latter commit sound like a person whose learned his lesson? Answer: Yes!

Although king David did not receive complete healing and physical restoration, he received spiritual restoration and he accepted GOD’s judgment against him,

“I know, O LORD, that Thy judgments are right, and that Thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me. Let, I pray Thee, Thy merciful kindness be for me comfort, according to Thy word unto Thy servant. Let Thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live for Thy law is my delight. Let my heart be sound in Thy statues; that I be not ashamed.”  (Psalm 119:76-80)

So, we see that king David is rooted and grounded in the ALMIGHTY GOD, “…I will keep Thy precepts with my whole heart….I delight in Thy law…” (Psalm 119:69b, 70b)

QUESTION:  What about us?    ANSWER:  Perhaps you have sinned against the LORD GOD and you are godly sorrowful for your sins. In fact,  all have sinned an fallen short of the glory of God!  Like king David, you may not be completely healed from your sickness and/or disease but your spiritual man/woman is reunited with the LORD. Nonetheless, you must humble yourself, pray, and seek GOD’s face. As we all know, “…not all sickness is unto death…”

If GOD is willing, many things can happen as HE can turn your captivity around – you may be healed or not…your life may be prolonged…the illness may subside or not…you may learn to live with your condition(s)…and you may not die from that particular illness. Instead, you may slip on a banana pill, tumble down the stairs, or be hit by a moving vehicle! Whatever the situation, you should humble yourself and re-read king David’s words in Psalm 119:76-80.

Tell the LORD GOD,   “I know that I have been wrong and You O LORD are right in Your judgment against me! I confess my sins(s) and I beg Your forgiveness. Cover me in Your Blood and write Your Words in my heart. Let the Holy Spirit live within my soul, mind, body, and bones. Let your blood flow throughout my body. Tame my body and control the lusts of my flesh! Do not take your Spirit from me, O LORD! Teach me Thy statues and write them in my heart and give me the victory. Save my soul from Hell because I want to live with you forever and ever. LORD, save me and keep me safe every day.” This is the way Constance Lee prays!

You see, we cannot be saved one day and sinning the next. The LORD GOD looks down from Heaven with a terrible frown on His face! Although, He could strike us dead, He is a forgiving, merciful, and compassionate GOD! For instance, He says, “Well, I see he/she is up to the same old tricks ad lifestyle. I will close this window for now and check them out later.”   Before “later” comes, we’d better check ourselves as it may be later than we think! GOD is not playing with us! Worldwide News: “King David Admitted His GUILT!”

The Bible says,

               (A) “Before I was AFFLICTED I went ASTRAY…”    (Psalm 119:67)

King David made many confessions and through many of his hard trials, battles, and tribulations, we learn a great deal from him. David was typed as “…a man after God’s own heart…” which simply means David had a repentful heart as he was godly sorry for his sin. The question is did king David stop sinning and did he receive punishment from God?  Let’s take a look, PART I: King David Admitted His Guilt!”

As you already know, king David had a sexually transmitted disease which he got from somebody. Long ago, I talked about this subject but allow me to package it differently. David could have avoided this disease but he did not obey the Ten Commandments “…thou shalt not commit adultery…” which was handed down from Prophet Moses.

David was a great warrior, great leader, great king, great commander just as he was a great lover, hated by many, admired by some, sexually active, deceitful, and a strategic conniver who plotted against others (especially warring nations).

I mean no disgrace to king David (the Lord’s annointed) but the “man” David had many issues and one of them was he liked pretty women! Often great men have two sides to themselves – one side is virtually outstanding and the other side is demonic (i.e., sexual cravings such as alcohol, drugs, and kinky desires making them unbalanced).

We know that king David took Uriah the Hittite’s wife by default because David gave orders to send Uriah into the heat of the battle where he died from wounds. Uriah was such a devoted Captain that he refused to be intimate with Bathsheba because his men were on the battlefield! After Uriah’s untimely death, king David took Bathsheba for his wife but the sin was not overlooked by the LORD GOD (the child died). To add more fuel to the fire, king David had several wives, concubines, several recorded children, and other offspring who were not on record.

The following words are king David’s testimony about his sexually transmitted disease (STD),

“O LORD, rebuke me not in Thy wrath: neither chasten me in Thy hot displeasure. For Thine arrows stick fast in me and Thy hand presseth me sore. There is no soundness in my flesh because of Thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.

For mine iniquities are gone over my head: as a heavy burden they are too heavy for me. My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness. I am troubled;

I am bowed down great; I go mourning all the day long. For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh. I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart.

Lord, all my desires is before Thee; and my groaning is not hid from Thee. My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.

My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand afar off.”   (Psalm 38: 1-11)

What You Say?

To recap, king David was a very, very, very, sick man who needed to be hospitalized at the Mayo Clinic in Paris or Germany. It seems king David was ill for a long, long, long time “…no soundness in his flesh…the disease settled in his bones…no rest, heavily burdened and mourned all day long…loins were filled with the loathsome disease…he was feeble … and his sores had a terrible odor…”

Symbolically, king David suffered from the same arrows which killed Uriah the Hittite – the only difference is Uriah  died instantly and David did not die as he suffered for years

We have a “…feeble and broken…”   king who was not defeated by an outside warring nation. Instead, he was beaten because he refused to obey the Laws of the ALMIGHTY GOD!  David had a severed relationship with God,

“O LORD, rebuke me not in Thy wrath: neither chasten me in Thy hot displeasure….I have roared by reason of the disquietness of my heart…Lord, all my desire is before thee and my groaning is not hid from thee…My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.” (Psalm 38:1, 8b-10)

David said, “For Thine arrows stick fast in me and Thy hand presseth me sore…I am troubled and I am bowed down great…”  (Psalm 38:1, 6) Furthermore, king David was at his wits end, “For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.” (Psalm 38:4)

Frankly, king David was in good health before he yielded to the wiles of the dEVIL.  The man (David)  could not put his flesh and lust in check but as king David (“…anointed of God…”) he should have respected the anointing and the cloak placed upon him by the ALMIGHTY GOD.

We must learn not to play with GOD’s integrity!  The Word says,  “…resist the devil and he will flee…”   If we do not resist the dEVIL, then we are not obeying GOD.  What am I saying?  If you are single or married, do not commit fornication and/or adultery!  The old folks use to say,  “…keep your dress down…and your pants up…”  When that person (girl or guy) calls you for an adventurous evening in bed, resist!  Move to another apartment, change your phone number, block their number(s), get out your Bible, get down on your knees and pray.  Why?  The night you yield to sexual temptation just may be the night you contract an STD!  Be careful out there!

Worldwide News: “BE THOU CLEANSED!”

The Bible says, “And it came to pass, when he [JESUS] was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy who seeing JESUS fell on his face, and besought Him, saying, LORD, if thou wilt, Thou canst make me clean. And JESUS put forth His hand and touched him, saying I will be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him. And HE charged him to tell no man; but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.” (Luke 5:12-14)

The greatest preacher told this story and performed this miracle but this was not the only miracle JESUS did!  Do you know why so many of us do not have our healing? Well, its because we lack the faith in the LORD JESUS CHRIST . Here’s is another question for you all,  “Is there anything too hard for the Lord to do?”

Check this out:

(1) Jesus was in a certain city and a sick man full of leprosy came-a-running (begging to be healed of his sickness) and fell on his face before Jesus! Who cares about the name of the city as it doesn’t matter – when you’re sick you’re sick and you look a hot mess!

For the sake of some of you, let’s say, Jesus was in Paris, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Izmir, Jerusalem, or whatever. This man had enough sense to recognize the absolute healing powers of JESUS and this man didn’t care who was looking at him. As you know, death, sickness, and disease has no respect of persons – so a poor, middle class, or rich person can be full of sickness (mental illness, blindness, deafness, cancer, Aids, high blood pressure, tuberculosis, Ebola, genital worts, or some rare disease).

You’ve got to get out of the box and stop worrying about your status and/or who may be looking at you. Let their eyes fall out of the sockets and run down the road! Baby, get your praise on and run to Jesus as fast as you can!

(2) This sick and tormented man had enough of his sickness, oozing sores, tired of the isolation from his family and friends, tired of sleepless nights, tired of no medicine, tired of being in pain 24/7, tired of looking ugly, tired of disfiguration, and tired of just being tired. So this leper asked the Lord, “…if you will make me clean…”

One day, you will get tired of looking at yourself in the mirror, your mess, and your physical/mental illnesses. When this happens, you’ve got to make that call to JESUS because the doctor cannot help you do this. In fact, many doctors are sick and heavily medicated themselves. Doctors and nurses are people with the same sickness and illnesses as their patients. In fact, many doctors are rude because they think more highly of themselves! Come on now, yawl! Many professionals are just as arrogant and they refuse to admit that they need help!

What did Jesus do?   The LORD saw the condition of this leper and his sincerity. And so, “Jesus put forth His hand and touched the leper saying, I will be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.”

You see, it doesn’t take JESUS all night/all day to heal or repair our bodies or situations. HE IS A RIGHT NOW GOD! However, the LORD has His own time frame for everything. As the Word states, “…there is a time and season for all things…” For some of us, the Lord has to whip us with many strips – one week the doctor says return in two weeks…after three weeks, the doctor says “you’re looking much better…”….after six months or one year, the disease is in remission!

For others, the Lord can heal miraculously because the person(s) is godly sorrowful for his/her sins! For all of us, it is a test of othe nerves because the LORD wants to see if we will keep the faith regardless of our situations. My advice is for you not to act up like a monkey and trust the Lord whether you feel good, bad, ugly, sick, tired, or whatever!

After his healing, what did the leper do?  He testified about his deliverance from his disease.  He went to the priest and he told everybody about the miracle in his life!  You cannot keep the goodness of the Lord down under a blanket.  Go to Church (a good Bible believing one).  Become a faithful member and go to Bible study!  You must tell it others about the things the Lord has done for you.  This is called spreading the “Good News”  – the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Don’t tell you were sneaking around behind your friend’s back as you may get knocked out! Instead, stop sinning, put an end to your madness, and make an about face to serve the Lord.    Trust in the Lord and “BE THOU CLEANSED!”

Have a Blessed Day!

The Bible says, “Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves…Lest ye corrupt yourselves (making a graven image, similitude of any figure, likeness of male or female, any beast on the earth, winged fowl that flieth in the air, likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, fish in the waters beneath the earth); And lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven and when thou seest the sun, moon, stars, even all the host of heaven shouldest thou be driven to worship them and serve them which the Lord thy God hath divided unto all nations under the whole heaven.” (Deuteronomy 4:15-19)

What in the world are we teaching our children and what are we believing in? Among many people,  one of the biggest fallacies is wishing upon the stars (not the stars in Hollywood) in the heavens. Surely, you are familiar with the phrase “….when you wish upon a star your dreams come true….” Does this line up with the Word of God? Honey, the answer is in no way shape or form does this line up with GOD’s Holy Word!   Yet we continue to sing songs and watch movies telling us to wish upon a star or stars.

The Word (paraphrasing) says, “…take heed…lest ye corrupt yourselves and/or lift up your eyes unto heaven at the sun, moon, stars, or the host of heaven and be driven to worship and serve them.”  This means that we better be careful because as we have been told this is idolatry. God Himself made the sun, moon, stars and all the host of heaven for all nations (under the heaven) to enjoy. Certainly, we look up at the sun, moon, stars in admiration but not to worship them as gods.

(1) Luke 4:6-8 states, “And the devil said unto Jesus, All this power will I give thee…if thou therefore wilt worship me… all shall be thine.  And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and HIM only shalt thou serve.

We are not to worship the devil, angels, principalities, powers of darkness, sun, moon, stars, host of heaven, graven image, similitude of any figure, likeness of male or female, any beast on the earth, winged fowl that flieth in the air, likeness of any thing that creepeth on the ground, fish in the waters beneath the earth.

(2) Deuteronomy 6:12-15 states, “Then beware lest thou forget the Lord…Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God and serve Him…Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you. For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.”

We are not to worship other gods or serve other gods which people thrust upon us (including demi-gods like our cars, houses, clothing, investments, lands, cattle, status within the community, city, state, or whatever.  There is no respect of persons in Christ Jesus.  Instead, we are to fear the Lord God (as He reigns over life, death, and eternity) and Him only shall we serve.

(3) Genesis 1:16-18 states, “And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night: He made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light upon the earth and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.”

We are not to worship the two great lights (sun, moon) or the stars because they were made by God. Why on earth would we worship something made by God when we’re commanded to worship only the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, the Creator of the Universe.  Why slap God in His face?  Instead, we should humble ourselves.  Are we so stupid to bow down to light fixtures and lamps in our homes because they give good illumination?

Eventually, the lights will go out (including the lights at Motel Six – where the motto is “We leave the lights on for you!” ).   According to Isaiah 13:10, ” Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and HE shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and their constellation will not flash forth their light; the sun will be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And God will punish the world for their evil and the wicked for their iniquity…the arrogancy of the proud to cease and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.”

(4) 1 Corinthians 15:40-41 states, “There are celestial bodies and bodies terrestrial but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.”

We are not to worship the two great lights (the sun = the greater and the moon = the lesser) as their job is to give/rule light by day or night; also the stars are to shine in the heavens as well. However, the celestial bodies (the sun, moon, and stars) have different glories from each other and a different glory from the terrestrial bodies (earthly bodies – men, beasts, trees, the entire earth and its inhabitants).  As terrestrial bodies, we all look different! (I don’t need to go into all that!)

The MAKER = GOD ALMIGHTY and HE IS A JEALOUS GOD. Although everything is marvelously made, there is nothing made that is greater than the MAKER! I have never seen or heard of Mankind maufacturing celestial bodies (such as a the sun, moon, stars, planets, solar system, galaxies, or the extended universe). Also, I have never seen or heard of Mankind creating a living tree but I have heard that Mankind makes artificial trees and flowers (you know that as well).

When GOD created the trees, plant life, and vegetation, HE created the seed within the seed for trees, plant life, and vegetation to reproduce themselves. I’ve never seen a tree lay an egg!  Have you?

I have never seen Mankind (including magicians) create a rabbit or a bird. Instead, I have see magicians make rabbits bounce out of hats as well as birds fly out of hats! Therefore, “STOP WISHING UPON STARS!” and please don’t worry about the zodiac signs as you are either right or wrong in CHRIST JESUS!

Have a Blessed Day!
