The Bible says, “[vs. 5] None eye pited thee…none eye have compassion upon thee but thou was cast out in the open field, to the loathing of thy person in the day that thou wast born. [vs. 6] And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, LIVE; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, LIVE.” (Ezekiel 16:5-6) Please read on, “Inspite of Your Faults, GOD LOVES YOU!”
BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:
Do you think sin today is any different from sin in the Ancient of Days? No way! Sin is Sin no matter where it lives! The same dEVIL is roaming to and fro in the earth seeking whom he may devour. The devil (Lucifer) is as old as time and he is a fallen angel from heaven (by the way Lucifer was the most anointed cherub). One thing for sure, Lucifer can never be forgiven and/or restored to his former glory!
Unlike the fallen angels, Mankind has the right to salvation and restoration. We should seek the LORD JESUS because HE died on the Cross to reconcile us back to FATHER GOD. Through the blood of JESUS CHRIST, we are redeemed. Praise the Lord!
THE WORD says, “none eye pited thee…none eye have compassion upon thee…”
Now let’s talk about pity! When folk are down and out on luck, they need assistance. There is no question about this. Yet, the general public walks by and/or steps over the homeless. I’ve seen people laying down on the sidewalks and no body goes over to offer a meal or service to them! The police will question them because they may need a medical help.
If the homeless person is unbathed/raggedy, people generally cross the street because they are afraid to come close to homeless person. Maybe these upright citizens think bugs are going to jump out on them. Fewer and fewer shelter centers are available for the homeless and many of the homeless sleep in city parks. allies, and under bridges. Some of them will carefully approach people for hand-outs or food. Yet other homeless will warn people to back off and leave them alone! This is most unfortunate.
If you can stop at Starbucks for coffee and donuts, you can buy a latte coffee and sandwich for a homeless individual. As Christians, we should feed and clothe the poor unfortunate individuals. We should donate money to the churches and charitable organizations. I’m sure, many of you do this. This is what JESUS wants us to do as we follow HIM. We should have love one for another. If you don’t have pity for these individuals, something is wrong with you.
THE WORD says, “I passed by thee and saw thee polluted in thine own blood. I said unto thee LIVE.”
Don’t you know the LORD sees everything going on in our lives and HE never misses a beat. When the front door is closed and we retreat to our personal quarters, the real person comes out!
Take off the wig, hair piece and extensions, pull out the false teeth (set them in the jar), take off the padded buttocks in your jeans, take off the fake eye lashes, wipe off the make up, take off the fine rags, put the Coach hand bag in the closet, take off the expensive designer Polo shirts, sport shirts, T-shirts, and dress shirts, take off the expensive watches (Rolex, Patek Philippe, or Cartier), take off the fine jewelry and put all the stuff in the dresser drawer.
NOW the real YOU appears. Go over to the mirror and take a good look! Instead, put on some rags and smear your face with mud, you will look just like a homeless person. Go out to the streets to see if people will help you!
We too are polluted in our own blood, mess, sin, vanity, lust, selfishness, and desires just as the folks in the past. You don’t have to go outside of your residence to be filthy because filth lives inside your home. In fact its waiting for you when you walk through the front door. Folk are addicted to pornography, sex, violence, child molestation, fraud, stealing, lying, and every sort of devilment they can do.
YET THE LORD JESUS LOVES US AND HE IS WAITING TO FORGIVE US RIGHT NOW! When JESUS looks down from Heaven, HE sees our pollutions. Instead of ignoring or punishing us, HE passes through the land and takes pity on us. HE saves us, washes us, sanctifies us, turns us around, and sets our feet on solid ground. Thank you JESUS!
JESUS does not leave us alone but HE looks beyond our faults and sees our needs! Thank you JESUS! Although none of us are perfect, we are covered under the Blood of JESUS CHRIST. Allow the LORD to have HIS perfect will in our lives. Let us never forget that we must allow the HOLY SPIRIT to purge us on a daily basis. Remember, “IN SPITE OF YOUR FAULTS, GOD LOVES YOU!”
Have a Blessed Day!
