Worldwide News: Send down Your Holy Spirit on Me!

This message is not for the ungodly. Instead, it is for real Christians.  If you are straddling the fence and waivering, you must go back and do your first works again.

If you are past the lusts of the flesh and you are seeking to live right (inspite of all the other problems in your life), you need to read this message!  As you read the Word of God, your understanding of the Godhead will expand as the Word says “….if any of you lack wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, let him ask of God and He will freely give it to him…”   Along with these gifts  (wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and others), you are being filled and renewed with the Holy Spirit. One day you may be down but the next day the Holy Spirit will renew your spirit as you read God’s Holy Word.  Ever notice how you can get disgusted with your life? Then, the Lord sends somebody by to see you, to call you, to write a note or letter, to encourage you via email or through the internet; or you’ll hear an encouraging commercial; or flipping through the channels on the T.V. , you hear a startling message;  or you’ll read a billboard with encouraging words; or someone has a sticker on the back of their car which reads “Jesus is all you need!”   

As you know, the Holy Spirit  is a Divine Person (Omniscient, Omnipresent, Omnipotent, and Eternal) who daily communes with you.  His presence in your life is wonderful.  He acts and works in a mystical way because He cannot be seen with the naked eye. When  He comes upon you, its like the wind, breath, and the power of God resting upon you.  You feel Him but you don’t see Him!  Because He is a Spirit, He is neither male nor female!  Yet He steps into believers  to perform the miraculous!  When you think you are alone, He is called along side (parakletos: a Greek word)  of you to aid you,  to give you  gainsay and victory over your enemies.  Just about the time, your flesh gets weary from trouble, the Holy Ghost steps in right on time!   He is God’s Executive Agent! 

By now, you should be asking, “How do I know He lives in me?”   If you are living right, you are growing (in the Lord) and the Holy Spirit is giving you the Power Tools (knowledge, love, a rightful mind, wisdom, understanding, intelligence, strong will power and so on)  to make it in this world!   Below are a few of these attributes working in and through you. 

— “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.  The Spirit itself [neuter] beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.”  (Romans 8:16) 

— “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:  for we know not what we should pray for as we ought:  but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”  (Romans 8:26)   

— “But the Comforter which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”  (John 14:26) 

 — “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost be with you all.”   (II Corinthians 13:14) 

–“Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth is come, He will guide you unto all truth:  for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear that shall He speak and He will show you things to come.”  (John 16:13) 

— “Jesus said but when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of me.”  (John 15:26)

— “But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit:  for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”  (I Corinthians 2:10)

FINALLY: 

The Bible states,  “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith:  prove your own selves.  Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you…Now I pray to God that ye do no evil…but that ye should do that which is honest…”   (II Corinthians 13:5-7) 

“And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”  (Ephesians 4:30) 

 

Worldwide News: Again, I say don’t give up!

I got an ugly comment from somebody without hope in his life!  He thinks my opinions are worthless and he cannot wait to erase them from his mind. 

The Word of God says,  “Let this mind that is in Christ Jesus be in you…”   What did Jesus mean? Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit and daily in communion with the Spirit of God!  The spirit of man does not know the Spirit of God!  But the Spirit of God knows the spirit of man. Furthermore, the Spirit of God hears and reveals the things of God  to those filled with the Holy Spirit.  He can only speak the things of God which He is commanded to reveal to you, the believer!  Now I know that some of you are getting mad but that’s too bad! 

But for you who are filled with the Holy Ghost, you should be daily praying in the Spirit and speaking in tongues to God!  Sometimes, you cannot put things into words and your soul and the Holy Spirit moans and cries out to God!  That  is why the WORD says “That which is born of flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”   (John 3:5)    

 Everything the Lord said is for a specific purpose.  If the devil attacks your mind, the Lord JESUS can restore it.   The Master looked down the annals of time to our day.  He said that “periolous” times are ahead!  Aren’t we living in periolous times?   The jobs are diminished throughout the world; wars and rumors of wars; nations against nations; countries are bankrupt and up for sale to the highest bidders;  famines; earthquakes; volcanoes erupting (even in Iceland); tornadoes and twisters are destroying the land; tsunamis and earthquakes destroyed Japan;  multiple meltdowns of nuclear power plants; outrageous flooding; sink holes opening up to swallow  three story buildings; sickness and disease is on the rise; families are separated; people are divorcing; children are motherless and fatherless; and so on.  THERE IS ONLY ONE TO TURN FOR HELP, THE LORD JESUS! 

Lord, I thank Thee for your manifold blessings and I pray for all people everywhere to get down on their knees and cry out to you for help.  SAVE US, OH HOLY ONE!  Circumcise our hearts that we humble ourselves, turn from our wicked ways, confess our sins, and seek Your face.   Being faithful, just, merciful, and compassionate, I know You will hear from Heaven and heal our land(s)!  Thank you, Jesus! 

I cannot breathe without Lord. He woke me up early this morning and started me on my way.  I could have been numbered with the dying and/or the dead, but the Lord saw fit to let me see another Memorial Day.  PRAISE THE LORD!  Friends (especially to you who are without hope), if the nurse calls you saying,  “The doctor would like to privately talk with you. Can you come into the office?”  DO NOT GIVE UP!   You’d better take the Lord with you! 

Personally, I know a man that the doctor told him, “You have cancer and we’re going to burn you with radiation like toast!”  This man cried like a baby!  Then that doctor referred the patient  to a specialist surgeon, the second doctor, who said “operate immediately.”   The patient asked me to pray right there for him. I called on the Lord and asked God to heal him and continued praying.  And, God had mercy on that man.  I stayed on my knees praying!  After six months, the first doctor (who was planning to retire) had hernia surgery and died during recovery!  So you see, one has to be careful when speaking to people – especially those who confess Jesus Christ as Lord. 

Back to the patient who was scheduled for surgery.  On the day of his surgery, the second doctor said, “No Cancer!”  During  a four hour operation, they searched the patient’s lungs and throughout his body but there was no cancer.  But they found a gross thyroid covered with slime and stuff about the size of a 25 cents coin.  They kept the man in surgery and sent the specimen to the lab and the results were negative.  Perhaps, the doctor decided to take out the other thyroid but there was no need. 

THERE IS NO BODY LIKE GOD! 

 Folks, whether you like it or not, God will have the last say over your  body, soul, and spirit!  Naked you came into the world and naked you will go out and all that you’ve have will pass to another!  King Solomon said that who knows a “fool” may inherit your possessions.  Not one baby came into this world wearing rubies, diamonds, Gucci or designer diapers.  Perhaps, your earthly Daddy is rich, but not one of his baby(ies) was born with golden teeth.   

Where will you spend eternity?  THERE AIN’T NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR SOUL!

Worldwide News: One Blood Type – HOLY!

Mama use to say, “You’re either right or wrong…You’re either in or out…because there ain’t no in-between…”   She used to repeat certain phrases over and over.  There is one more phrase she used to put me in my place,  “You just keep on living, Connie.”  I thought I was so smart but way after while that little educated crockerdile found out she didn’t know nothing!   Do you remember the phrase “…see you later alligator….after while crockerdile?” 

 Here’s another phrase that (I know for a fact) was stamped on Mama’s forehead,  “YOU’VE GOT TO BE BORN AGAIN FROM ABOVE.”  I know that one sounds familiar.  I’ll get back to that in one minute.

Allow me to divert a little.  My family tree has so many ethnicites (mexicans, jews, blacks, whites, foreign nationals, and fools) that it is crazy.  Tyler Perry’s family show got nothing on my family.  We should have a reality program!  One time, we got together for dinner at a big fancy restaurant.  I think the Maitre-D’ sat us in the middle of the restaurant to make fun of us because he should have seated us in the kitchen.  My white sister-in-law was very proper and conservative.   During dinner, she said,  “Susie (her daughter 6 yrs. old, long wavy hair, and very light complexion) have some of Mommie’s alvocado on your salad because it is nutritional for you.”   Susie said,  “Ah don’t wont none of that ’cause it tastes nasty!”   And I said, “The Ah’s is got it.”   Do you get it?    If you have  1/4  of black blood in you, YOU ARE BLACK!     It does not matter if your Daddy is lily white and your Mama is Creole…if she has Negro blood in her…YOU ARE BLACK!   And so, “The Ah’s is wins the trophy!” 

THE WORD OF GOD 

Jesus told Nicodemus, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth; so is every one that is born of the Spirit.”  (John 3:5-8) 

Well, Nicodemus could not put his big crusty self back into his Mama’s womb and he knew it.   Although Nicodemus was a master of Israel (a Pharisee and member of the Sanhedrin),  he was impressed with Jesus’ miracles and teachings from God, Nicodemus was ashamed to visit (during the day) with Jesus; so he came by night.  Some of you are ashamed to admit to others that you believe in the Lord. Don’t you know that Jesus will be ashamed of you on Judgment Day?  Why should you care what others think about you?  The same people will lie on you no- matter-what you do.  Today, people are full of jealously as the  Pharisees and Sandhedrin were jealous of Jesus.  

In view of his profession, Nicodemus did not understand (like many people today).    Then, Jesus told Nicodemus,  “WE speak that we do know, and testify that WE have seen; and ye receive not OUR witness [Jesus was speaking in plural about We, the Trinity not the disciples]…If I have told you earthy things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?”  (John 3: 11-12)    

Jesus answered Pilate saying, “Thou sayest that I am a king.  To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth.  Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”  (John 18:37)   And Pilate asked the rhetorical question,  “WHAT IS TRUTH?”   (John 18:38)  Following this is the Passion of Christ and you know the rest of the truth!

One more time, Mama (who was not a Pharisee or a member of the Sandhedrin but a little old country black woman) was right!    “YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN.”   As for me, there is only ONE RACE AND ONE BLOOD TYPE reborn from above inthe Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost!   As Jesus stated, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”   (John 3:6)

Worldwide News: Give something to the poor and needy…

Somebody said,  “All Ms. Connie talks about is Jesus and she is right…”    She meant it as a compliment and thats the way I received it.    I don’t know anyone or anything more reliable than the Lord JESUS CHRIST!   Do you?  Some trusted in their jobs and the jobs went away. Some trusted in their stocks, bonds, and investments and that all went away thanks to Wall Street.   Still others trusted in people and the people failed them.  Many people trusted in Social Security and the government and both of these institutions have miserably failed; and they are bankrupt. 

 It’s getting so bad for senior citizens (i.e., cuts in Medicare, Medicaid, and other social services) that one day, the government may line them up like ducks (in the field) and shoot them.  It’s a fact that certain medical procedures (which use to be payable) are no longer considered routine.  There are outside firms hired to scan, approve, or deny claims and benefits.  Who asked them to interfere?  Did you?  But the doctors have over billed, so the insurance industry is “wiser and weaker…”   Therefore, the patient pays out-of-pocket for medical services and for prescriptions.  Now we all have to pray, “Dear Lord, don’t let the car or washing machine break down…and…don’t let my kids and grands move back in or else I’ll be eating Honey Nut Cheerios for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.”   

The less unfortunate seniors and others (without  medical insurance) must find alternative ways to live, get medical help, and/or  just wait for the undertaker to come.  There’s coming a time when doctors can decide when to pull the plug (without the family’s consent) on an individual’s life support.  Doesn’t this sound like a Hollywood movie?  Scrooge once said,  “…to reduce the surplus population on the earth…”   Would you feel safe in the hands of monsters who can decide your fate?

Let’s go to the Word of God.  Jesus spoke a parable about a rich man who had so much that he decided to tear down his old barn and build a new barn.  We are not given this man’s name but you can fill in the blank (naturally, you’re not like him) but I’m sure you know somebody like him!   This man said,  “What shall I do because I have no room to bestow my fruits… and goods?”   (Luke 12:17-18)     You know, he really had nerves!  Literally, he was a jerk because he said, “I have so much stuff what should I do with it?”  He could have given away his extra goods and fruits to the poor down the street, on the next block, across town, in the next city, or whatever.  If he had that many fruits and grains (including goods), he had servants to plant, cultivate the soil, water, harvest, collect, store, and distribute.  They must have shaken their heads as they piled up all that stuff in the barn.  Surely, one or two of the servants must have said, “Two for Boss-man and four for me because I have twelve mouths to feed including my in-laws!”    

However, the rich man said, “And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink and be merry.”  (Luke 12:19)   But,  “God said unto him [the rich man] thou fool, THIS NIGHT thy soul shall be required of thee:  then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”    (Luke 12:20-21)

There you read it for yourself.  If you know anyone who has a need, then, you must help them.  Even if you just drive them to the doctor, you must do it. If their kids need  bread, milk, and Honey Nut Cheerios, buy it for them! Don’t complain and do it with a smile!

Worldwide News: What do you take when the Tornadoe strikes?

We all have lots of JUNK!   What on earth do you take in the eye of a natural disaster such as tornadoes?  You can fill up the car, trunk, truck, van but there won’t be any room for your husband.  Tell him you will catch up to him later.  But really,  where can you drive with a twister behind you and in front of you?  If you have a basement, there isn’t enough time to take your personals down to the basement and the basement closet may be only big enough for  2  1/2 people given weight and size! 

You can get another house but you cannot get another life.  So many people have gone into judgment these past weeks and we all cry and mourn for the departed souls.  May the Lord help those grieving families!   You’ve seen the towns, cities, homes, buildings, and companies crushed to the ground.  The Lord is telling us something!   

The Word says, “…if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, then, I will hear from heaven and heal the land…”   One righteous person can put 1,000 to flight  and two righteous persons can put 10,000 to flight.  Get a prayer group going and pray God to TURN THESE NATURAL DISASTERS!  If Prophet Elijah prayed and stopped the rain for 3   1/2 years, so can you!  Once, I saw a funnel cloud touching the ground and I began to pray outloud like I was out-of-my mind!  That horrible cloud disappeared! 

I’ll tell you what I’m gonna do.  I’M TAKING JESUS AND THE HOLY GHOST WITH ME!  I decided (a long, long time ago) to live for Jesus.  I told my husband,  “May the Lord be with you, keep you safe but don’t get between me and Jesus! ”  Don’t let nobody and nothing keep you from making it into the city.  There are times when my husband turns off the alarm and says…”Lets just stay home and rest today…It’s raining….It’s cold outside.”  I tell him, ” If you don’t get out of my face, I will give you a  Holy Ghost punch!”   Don’t mess with me on Sunday mornings!   GOD COMES FIRST!  After church, you can go to the park, jog, wash the car, eat out, or whatever!

USA News: TO ALL PASTORS: WHAT WILL JESUS SAY RE SEGREGATION?

I mean no disrespect to the true men of God, Pastors!  They have a remarkable job and I admire you!  Today, I heard such an inspiring message from a dynamic Man-of-God.  One of the things that stuck in my mind is that Life is a Test!  He said that God is testing His people to see who is real and who is not.  My mind wondered back to Gideon (in the Old Testament) who had 30,000 men ready to fight their own relatives, the Midianites (descendants of  Abraham and Keturah).  This was during Israel’s darkest period, the Judges.  Moving on, the Angel told Gideon to dismiss all but 10,000, then, all but 300 men.  I talked about this in one of my blogs!  God chose the men who got down and lapped water like dogs!  As stated earlier, God needs willing workers who aren’t afraid to go out on assignment, worship, pray, and praise Him without knowing the outcome.  Too many of us want God to give us a syllabus or step-by-step process for today, tomorrow, next week, and ten years plus down the road! 

TO THE PASTORS (Black and White)

I have visited many, many, many churches and I find very few mixed churches.  Most of the churches are segregated!  Is there one God for the blacks and a different God for the whites?  I have met a few pastors who are willing to discuss this matter.  However, I will not give their names and their comments.  I am simply passing on to you pastors in the USA a message from the Lord.  Do you really expect to fellowship in New Jerusalem when you cannot fellowship down here on earth with one another and people of color?  This applies to all pastors and to all congregations. 

All gifts and callings come from above…One God, One Lord, One Faith, One Holy Ghost, One Baptism! Yes, there are diversities of administrations, callings, gifts, etc. but all of these are operated by One Spirit!  Do you think heaven has  separate worship centers for gospel, blue grass, hymnals, choirs with or without robes?  Does heaven have one keyboard or two organs, one flute, one guitarist, one violinist, one celloist,one sax, one viola, one french horn, one base, one trumpet, or one harp, or multiple instruments of the same kind?

If worship on earth is a shadow of things to come, then, we need to be on ONE ACCORD and in HARMONY in the HOLY GHOST!  What do you think?   Do you work with white and black people in the workplace?  How do they get along?  Do you have Bible study in your workplace?  Is the membership mixed?  Does everyone use the same version of the Bible?  Do you exclude KJV in lieu of the New American Standard Bible (or whatever)?  If so, why?  What do you think God will say to you about this?  Can you honestly preach every Sunday about love and fellowship when your congregation is lily white, all black, or all hispanic, etc. and there is no effort to bring in a mixed community?  Never mind the fact you have a clothes closet or a kitchen for the unfortunate poor in the Churches’ surrounding community.  As Pastors are you reaching out to Pastors of different ethnicities?  If not, then, why not?       OR DO YOU PLAN TO CROSS THE RAILROAD TRACKS IN HEAVEN AND SAY,  “Hey Pastor  ____,   I’ve been meaning to talk to you but I never made the time in my former body.  I really enjoyed your gospel choir but I was afraid to invite you all to sing at my church.  We’re very, very quiet group of people and you all shout so loud the hairs on the back of my neck stand up!  Now that we’re here (since its daylight EVERY DAY) would you like to have a cup(s) of coffee, tea, cappuccino and a Dunkin Donut with me?  I have a few songs and memos to share with you.”    

WHAT DO YOU THINK JESUS WILL SAY!  Excuse me,  I thought He said,  “Praise ye the Lord.  Praise God in his sanctuary:  praise him in the firmament of his power.  Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.  Praise him with the sound of the trumpet:  praise him with the psaltery and harp.  Praise him with the timbrel and dance:  praise him with stringed instruments and organs.  Praise him upon the LOUD CYMBALS:  praise him upon the HIGH SOUNDING CYMBALS. LET EVERYTHING THAT HATH BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. Praise ye the Lord.”  (Psalm  150)   

If you can square dance, do the mash potatoes, tap dance, shout at the ball games, cheer your teams (while drinking beer and throwing peanuts), you can praise the Lord…loudly.  What on earth do you think beating timbrels, dancing, beating the drums, and LOUD brass cymbals sound like and look like?   Answer:  ONE BIG HUGE PARTY IN THE LORD!  The sound of this music (not the movie) is sweet in the ears of the LORD GOD in Heaven!  Don’t you get it?    

When you get to Heaven, God will put all of you quiet, reserve, and conservative people in the choir stand and next to the organ and guitar amplifiers.  AND YOU ARE GOING TO DO THE HOLY GHOST BOOGIE-WOOGIE.  YES, YOU’RE GONNA BE ON SOUL TRAIN EVERDAY!!!!!!!  

As for Constance, no rocks are going to cry out for me!

Worldwide News: So you’re ready to give up?

I just can’t stop talking about the Lord JESUS!!  He is so good to me.  No I’m not rich in finances but I serve an awesome God!  King David said, “I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging for bread…”   You may or may not come from a family of believers…it doesn’t matter. When God saves you, He may not save the other folks in your family; and brother, they’re gonna give you hell!  It may an unsaved wife, husband, daughter, son, mother or father-in-law, sister, brother, or whatever.  Just because the Lord didn’t tell them what He told you…they act up!  That’s because the enemy (the devil) don’t want YOU saved!  Therefore, the devil jumps in them and they act like monkies.  Next thing, you’re reacting to them and you just might start cursing (well, maybe not you).  Then, they say, “I thought you are saved!” 

Here is my point!  Your answer, your blessing, and your deliverance is hovering over your head.  But you can’t see it because you don’t believe.  In essence, you’re shortening your own blessings!  YOU’VE GOT TO BELIEVE.  He that comes to the Lord must first believe.  Just because you’ve  lost your job, home, car, can’t pay your bills, sickness has taken hold of your body, need new teeth, or whatever, you’re ready to give up!   We’ve all fallen short of the glory of God.  Being short (of His glory) doesn’t mean you cannot grow into spiritual perfection!  Instead, it means that your spiritual bank is “short ” even though you may have thousands of dollars in the bank!  Money can’t buy spiritual power as it is a gift from God.  Salvation is free!  Spiritually, you must totally surrender your will to the Lord.  Jesus wrestled with the same dilemma.  In fact, Jesus prayed,  “Father, remove this cup…nevertheless not My will but Your will be done…”   Don’t you know that Jesus was in PAIN and AGONY!  Jesus came down from Heaven above, took-off His royal clothes, and was willing to be made lower than the angels in heaven.  After torturing Christ the Lord (the Son of the Living God), mankind thanked Him by nailing Him to the cross and gambling for His cloak.  But Jesus died, freed the souls in paradise, led captivity captive, and now sits on the right hand side of God making intercession for us!  Are you still eager to give up?  If you give up, where can you go to escape from the Lord GOD?  You cannot hide from God!

You’ve got to believe as there is nothing left to believe in!  The Lord allows the USA and the entire world to be stripped of control, within and without.  All the groups, people, and government leaders are at each others’ throats. Each time one turns on the news or the Mosaic channel, there are people fighting in the streets all over the world (i.e., Russia, Egypt, Syria, Yemen, Pakistan, India, Greece, Kurds, terrorists).   No single, group of men (including the United Nations), president(s), ad hoc group(s), or countries can control the weather no more than they can control the people.  The enemy is footloose in the world!  In fact, meterologists  may predict (good and bad) weather as politicians predict  presidential nominees, but their predictions can be wrong.  The Word of God states,  “Put not your trust in man because he will surely fail you.”   What does this mean?  PUT ALL OF YOUR TRUST (FAITH, HOPE, AND BELIEF) IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST! 

God may not come when you want Him, but He is always on time!  You can take that to the bank, so don’t give up! 

Worldwide News: STRENGTH COMES FROM GOD!

A  little shepherd boy (who snatched the lambs out of the mouths of the bears and lions) grew up to be a mighty warrior and king over the United Kingdom (Judah and Israel).  His name was David and his sorrows were many as he was constantly fighting king Saul and his men, the Philistines, and many other nations.  

Through his songs, David taught us how to pray, how to be courageous, how to fight, how to win, and how to trust in the Lord GOD!  In fact, David and His Mighties  fought many battles!  But he did not claim these victories as his own!  David said,  “It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet, and setteth me upon my high places.  He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.  Thou hast enlarged my steps under me that my feet did not slip.  I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them:  neither did I turn again till they were consumed.  I have wounded them that they were not able to rise:  they are fallen under my feet.  For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle:  thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.  Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.  They cried, but there was none to save them:  even unto the Lord, but he answered them not.”  (Psalm 18:32-41)  

Just think, if we had to go up against the giants and raging nations like king David and his mighties, we might give up!  From his childhood, David had little fear for wild beasts and lots of reverance for Yahweh!  When David fought Goliath of Gath, he was just a young lad armed with a slingshot and five peebles.  As a mighty warrior, David attracted other fighting men!  Keep in mind strength begats strength (whether good or evil).  Together, God banned them to rid the land of the last giants and to quiet the land for his Chosen people.  Can we learn from David?  Answer:  YES WE CAN! But it is not the same  “…yes we can…”  as stated by our President.  

WE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS WHO STRENGTHENS US!   If we are believing Christians please read on.  God will give us strength, perfect our paths, and  enlarge our steps.  This does not mean that we will not cry sometimes, be disgusted, and  feel alone.  God is always there!  Life is just a test and the Lord GOD wants to see if we will call on Him, believe, and wait on His answer.  Somehow,  keep faith alive and do not give up because strength comes from God!   

Worldwide News: What happened on Dooms Day?

For unbelieving people many were concerned about the world ending on May 21st.  For some people it was a party night (Saturday night) and for others who had to work it was  business as usual.  What was the prophecy of Dooms Day to you?    

Jesus was very close to His disciples;  and today, we can be just as close in the spirit to Jesus CHRIST!  You know the song  ” He walks with me and talks with me along the narrow way…He Lives…you ask me how I know He lives…He lives within my heart! ”    As Jesus  sat (taking His rightful place as Rabbi, Teacher) upon the mount of Olives, certain disciples (Peter, James, John and Andrew) privately asked Him about the end times and for the sign.  What did Jesus tell them?   Jesus’ very first Words were “TAKE HEED LEST ANY MAN DECEIVE YOU.”   (Mark 13:5) For this reason, you must read the Word of God for yourself.   In Mark 13:32,  Jesus said,  “But of that day [the end of the world] and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.”    So, how can anybody ever tell you or predict the exact day and hour of Jesus’ return?  THEY CANNOT!  They are liers and the truth of God is not in them!

Jesus said,  “For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ and shall deceive many.”   (Mark 13:6)  So many have died believing the Mother Ship was coming for them (they sold all possessions) and others have drank poisoned cool-aid and went into judgment believing it was the right thing to do (and they gave their possessions to another).  Some way that the man responsible for the Waco, Texas deaths may still be alive!   

Jesus said,  “And when ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not e yet.  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:  and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles:  these are the begining of sorrows.”   (Mark 13:7-8)  I don’t have to tell you about the news because you know whats going on.  Simply, Jesus said that you will hear about all kinds of stuff and junk going on but don’t you be troubled!  Instead, Christians should draw closer to the Lord every time they hear about these horrible things happening.  Then, we must pray for the nations and traumatized victims of earthquakes, famines, troubles, and wars.  Be every so thankful that you were not counted among them and that your name is in the Lamb’s Book of Life!  

However, God intends to give everybody a fair chance and others second, third, fourth, and six chances.  You know that the Lord gave Queen Jezebel a chance to repent but she did not take heed!   The Bible states,   “The gospel must be first be published among all nations.”  (Mark 13:10)   To reiterate, the Lord GOD will give all  sinners a chance to hear the Word, repent, and be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  But it is up to them to make the right decision.  In some religions there is no repentance or salvation. However, in Christianity, there is forgiveness and restoration!  PRAISE THE LORD!  Some of you have been preaching for 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50 years to heathen family members and they still act like monkeys!  Just keep on spreading The WORD (disguised under the mayo, mustard, ketup, and salad dressing) over their heads as one day it will sink in!  You invite them over year after year after years (Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, BBQ’s, and other holidays) and they are still lost.   If it were possible, you’d buy a one-way ticket to the moon for them and say “Bon voyage.”   You don’t have to tell me, I already know!!!     

Again, Jesus warned,  “Take heed to yourselves…”  because the  enemy is coming against you to beat you and to destroy you “…but its really a testimony against them.”   (Mark 13:9)  As born-again Christians, we’ve got to check ourselves daily with God’s Words because even the very elect shall be deceived.   Jesus said,  “When they lead you and deliver you up, take no throught beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye:  for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.”   (Mark 13:11) 

Jesus said,  “Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.  And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake:  but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”   (Mark 13:12-13)

As you know, the world hates Christians.  People don’t want Christians to pray in public, quote Scriptures, talk about Jesus, teach the Commandments of God, and so on.  But when there is a horrific disaster or sudden destruction, they say aloud  “Oh, God help us!”  Afterwards, they go right back to sinning against God!  The Word tell us that God hates lukewarm Christians.   Revelations 3:15-16 states to the Church of Laodiceans,  “I know thy works that thou are neither cold nor hot:  I would thou wert cold or hot.  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”  Don’t straddle the fence to please people because they don’t have a heaven or hell to put you in. Instead, you should fear the Lord God!

“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall se him, and they also which pierced him:  and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.  Even so, Amen.”   (Revelations 1:7)

Worldwide News: STAND FIRM ON HIS PROMISES!

All of us wonder, WHY?    Don’t say, “Not me.”   We all get tired as we are humans! 

— BUT, the WORD says,  “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”  (Hebrews 11:13)   The things you want are real and these things may be for yourself, your family, through your job, through your church, from your insurance check, from your inheritance, from surgery, and so forth.  

— BUT, there is something (if you are a Christian) you’ve got to do. You must have faith in God. The devil knows this and he will do everything to snatch your faith. If he puts one crack in your faith foundation, he’s got you.  So, seal up your faith with the Holy Ghost. If you ain’t got it…GET IT!  Ask the Lord GOD to anoint you with this special power that cannot be bought in stores or through the internet!!!   Once your faith is sealed with the Holy Ghost, nothing and nobody can break through it.  The Bible says,   “For by it [faith] the elders obtained a good report.  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”  (Hebrews 11:2-3)   FAITH COMETH BY HEARING AND HEARING COMETH FROM THE WORD OF GOD! 

You’ve got to guard this faith from the enemy who comes through your family, friends, co-workers, supervisors and managers, sickness, disease, bad luck, etc.  Once you turn on the Holy Ghost screen, these people and things cannot break through to destroy you. You need a smoke screen between you and the devil.  Pray for your enemies!  If they refused to turn from sin:  pray for their teeth to fall out;   for them to go bald and get ugly;   for their k nees to knock against each other;  for their clawed and fungus feet to crumble…  

 –BUT, “STAND fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free and be not entagled again with the yoke of bondage.”   (Galatians 5:1)  The Holy Ghost will enable you to escape from the snares of the enemy and their wicked devices. When they call you to come over that night, don’t answer the phone and turn it off.  You don’t need to wake up in their bed feeling dirty one more day.  When they call you to go out drinking, you’ll say, “No thanks!”  Quickly, hang up the phone.  When they ask you to go clubing with them, don’t answer the phone and turn off your lights.  You don’t need them, their money, their food or drink.   Proverbs 23:1-3 states,  “When thou sittest to eat with a ruler [i.e., anyone], consider diligently what is before thee:  And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.  Be not desirous of his dainties for they are deceitful meat.”  

King Solomon (while backslidden) said, “I gave mine heart to know wisdom, madness, and folly…And I turned myselt to behold wisdom, madness, and folly for what can the man do that cometh after the king?  Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly as far as light excelleth darkness.  The wise man’s eyes are in his head; but the fool walketh in darkness…”  (Ecclesiastes 1:17; 2:12-14)

“Choose you this day whom ye will serve…but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”  (Joshua 24:15)
