Worldwide News: “Hey! You Know This Song – HOLY, HOLY, HOLY!”

The Bible says, “And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, which was, and is, and is to come…”  (Revelation 4:8)   You do know that HE is THREE in ONE – The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit! What’s more, HE is COMING BACK to this Earth for a Church (you and I) without spot or wrinkle!

What are the four beasts? They are angelic creatures who guard the throne, “The first beasts was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within…”  (Revelation 4:7-8)  For certain, they are not sinful as they sing non-stop (day and night), “Holy, Holy, Holy, LORD GOD ALMIGHTY…”

By the end of the song, the hairs on the back of your neck is standing up!  Tears will flow down your cheeks as they sing, “They nailed Him (Jesus) to the cross…He hung and died…He arose on the third day…”  I want you to think about the goodness of JESUS and the reason why HE came down from Heaven to save us! Are we worthy? Yet, HE hung on the cross for us!

Worldwide News: “YOU CANNOT MAKE IT BY YOURSELF!”

The Bible says, “The LORD is my Shepherd; I SHALL NOT WANT…”  (Psalm 23:1)

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

No matter what you are going through and whatever it is you are dealing with, the LORD will bring you through! In general, we get up each day hoping the day will be a-l-r-i-g-h-t and no bad things will happen. But somehow bad news comes as it finds its way down a crooked road, down a snaked road, and even down a straight line to you. Just like the fires throughout the forest, the flames skips, hops, and jumps over certain houses and lands to destroy. No one knows where destruction is or where calamity falls. However, you know when it hits as it hits very hard, center, and direct. Make no mistake it leaves a mark upon your life.

I’m here to tell you that it ain’t over until GOD says it is over. You must go on each days regardless to your trials and tribulations. It is OK to despise the shame – remember JESUS suffered terrible things for us and HE was perfect! Never mind your issues and problems, give it to the LORD as HE is able and HE is waiting for your call and worship.  

Take a pause for a moment and listen to a song by Kurt Carr & The Kurt Carr Singers, “For Every Mountain.”   This song will electrify you and stir you to remember the years of servitude to failures and sin but the LORD brought you through. Ask yourself these questions: a) how many mountains did you cross? b) how many trials came your way? c) how many rivers did you cross? Be honest, did you make it through on your own?

The first part of this song is slow as the lead singer (I don’t know her name) but she sings directly to your soul and spirit when she says, “I’ve got so much to thank God for…”    The second part of the song, The Kurt Carr Singers ascend 1/2 note higher on the phrase, “For Every Mountain…”   Yes my Brothers and Sisters (black, white, blue, green, yellow, and red – throughout the World), you have so very much to thank GOD for.

If you are reading this Blog, you are alive as you woke up this morning but it was not by your own goodness and glory. YOU AIN’T GOT NO GOODNESS OR GLORY!  Why?  It all belongs to the LORD!
