The Bible says, “Therefore the LORD HIMSELF shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call HIS name EMMANUEL.” (Isaiah 7:14) The first mention of Emmanuel in the Old Testament is found in the Book of Isaiah 7:14; 8:8; 8:10; and in the New Testament Matthew 1:23. PLEASE LISTEN to the song: “Emmanuel” lead by Norman Hutchins! Get up and raise up your hands to the Lord and put a little pep in your step!
Do you love EMMANUEL? If you love HIM, you will keep HIS commandments! Whether you realize it or not HE is with US! HE loves you and HE cares for you. There is no body on earth who can help you. If the LORD closes a door, nobody can open it! If the LORD opens a door, nobody can close it!
The LORD JESUS CHRIST is a jealous GOD, you cannot put a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g above or beside HIM. What am I saying? GOD comes first in the lives of every believer and HE should be included and respected in the entire World. You may have a husband/wife (maybe two or three or several in your lifetime), children, grands, parents, god parents, sisters/brothers, boyfriends/girlfriends/friends, collections of coins/cars/boats/golf clubs/airplane/homes/mansions/islands/jewelry/pets or whatever but nobody and nothing comes before the LORD GOD!
MY TESTIMONY: Ms. Constance loves the LORD GOD with her whole heart, body, and soul. No body and nothing come (including my eyeballs, feet, and teeth) before the LORD GOD. I truly worship the Lord and I don’t care who is watching. You ain’t got no heaven or hell to put me in and that’s what you should tell others who interfere with your salvation, praise and worship. When the LORD Raptures the Church, I want to be included in that event. Hopefully, you want to be included in the Rapture!
For years, I allowed people (including my husband – unfortunately, I cannot list him on Ebay or Amazon) and things to interfere with my worship but no longer! For eleven years my husband worked out-of-state and came home twice a month (or less dependent on the weather and flights). His career and prestige came first! I had to get pick him from the airport and drive him back (early mornings and/or late evenings as he slept in the car). It was like driving Mr. Daisy! He deliberately took late out bound flights and all the restaurants were closed by 11:00PM. He booked return flights Sunday mornings at 11:00AM (about the time of worship service at churches). Unfortunately, I missed church services!
For many years, it was my job to pick-up my husband from the airport. On late nights all the restaurants were closed. Like most husbands, Mr. Lee needed to get home right away; so, we headed home and turned out the lights. You see, I had a wifely duty to perform. That was one of my husband’s favorite quotes from the Bible, “…a wife must be submissive to her husband…” However, GOD will incapacitate bodily parts you may deem more valuable and place them or it above your praise and worship to the ALMIGHTY GOD.
Allow me to give you a very special tip! People will set roadblocks to derail you from the LORD GOD. Why? They are unbelievers and rebellious. They design plots and ways to include you in their menageries. For instance, unbelievers will devise ways to steer you away from church such as jogging Sunday mornings at 11:00am or going on a picnic or staying overnight at a hotel or going to the beach Saturday/Sunday. They will trick you in every way possible. You get the picture? Looking back over my life, I was a sitting duck because I did not put the LORD first.

Exodus 34:14 says, “For you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is JEALOUS, is a jealous GOD.”
Exodus 20:5 says, “You shall not bow down to them or serve them for I the LORD your GOD am a jealous GOD, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children tot he third and the fourth generation of those who hate me…”
Deuteronomy 4:24 says, “For the LORD your GOD is a consuming fire, a jealous GOD.”
Deuteronomy 6:15 says, “For the LORD your GOD in your midst is a jealous GOD, lest the anger of the LORD your GOD be kindled against you, and HE destroy you from off the face of the earth.”
II Corinthians 11:2 says, “For I feel a divine jealousy for you, since I betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to CHRIST.”
Allow me to ask the question again. Do you love EMMANUEL?
