Worldwide News: “So, You think U got AWAY?”

GOD  said,  “For Mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from My face, neither is their iniquity hid from Mine eyes.”   (Jeremiah 16:17)

Well, well, well!  If the ancient people in the Old Testament could not get away from the LORD GOD, how far do you think you can run or hide from HIM? There was a POP group (but I cannot remember their names) who had a hit song, “You think you got away with it!” Maybe some of you can remember this group’s name. Like most people, we do as we please – ain’t that right? But, who are we fooling?

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME: 

This great man of God (Prophet Jeremiah) was running hither and thither but nobody was listening to him. Any body else in their right mind would hand out premium tickets to sinners on their way to hell and glad about it but not Prophet Jeremiah.

You know, Prophet Jeremiah’s  haters beat him up…cast him in prison…down in the dungeon-mirey clay…and threw away the key. It took Ebed-melech the Ethiopian (a Black eunuch, deprived of the testes)  who begged Zedekiah (king of Judah) to give the command to rescue Prophet Jeremiah.  This was an heroic act by Ebed-melech and not many people know about him.  Also, he was a royal servant in the king’s house.  (Jeremiah 38:7-10)  For certain, Ebed-melech had courage and guts as the LORD GOD used him as a mouth piece to king Zedekiah! 

Why are so many headed downward?   Perhaps, this popular hit says it all, “It’s Your Thang – Do What You Wanna Do – I Can’t Tell You Who To Sock It To!”   Today (like ancient times), everybody is doing their own thang and very few really want to serve the LORD GOD! Most people think they are getting away in their sinful natures but they are not! The WORD of GOD clearly states, “For Mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from My face, neither is their iniquity hid from Mine eyes.” 

Just like  GOD’S  eyes were upon  Prophet Jeremiah,  GOD’S  eyes are upon us.   The LORD GOD will bless us for our righteous and unselfish acts toward one-another.  Check out GOD’S blessing upon Ebed-melech,   “Now the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the prison, saying, Go and speak to Ebed-melech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring My words upon this city for evil and not for good; and they shall be accomplished in that day before thee. But I will deliver thee in that day and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid. For I will surely deliver thee and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in Me, saith the LORD.” (Jeremiah 39:15-18)

Are you tired of spinning your wheels and getting no place or just going in circles?   Then, remorsefully repent…make an about-face, and turn to the LORD GOD.

Worldwide News: “CONFOUND THEM that PERSECUTE ME!”

 

The Bible says,  “Let THEM be confounded that persecute me, but let not me be confounded: Let THEM be dismayed, but let me not be dismayed: Bring upon them the day of evil and destroy them with double destruction.”   (Jeremiah 17:18)    If you think GOD will let your enemies have victory over you, you can forget it!   Say these words,   “CONFOUND THEM that PERSECUTE ME!”

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

Yep!  We are still in the Old Testament and listening to Prophet Jeremiah . After all, he was persecuted, mocked, thrown in prison, and put deep down in a lower dungeon with mice, rats, and creepy crawlers because he preached the Word of GOD!  Oh yea!  They gave Prophet Jeremiah stale-molded bread and dirty water to drink. Have you been treated like Prophet Jeremiah?

In these last evil days, we see Christians beheaded, locked-up, cast out of their homes, lied upon, and treated like dogs!  Not only are Christians targeted – many of the Super-powers are witnessing unbelievable crimes being committed upon innocent people. This is the same vicious and cruel DEMONIC SPIRIT which lives on from Lucifer’s fall to Earth throughout all Ages and Dispensations (with one exception upon JESUS’ RETURN to restore all back to HIS FATHER). 

If you are reading this Blog, there is something you can do! One of the solutions is Prayer!  As a key factor, you must cover yourself, family, friends, financial status, job, and whatever else.  As Prophet Jeremiah said:

(1)  LET THEM BE CONFOUNDED THAT PERSECUTE ME;

(2)  LET THEM BE DISMAYED;

(3)  BRING UPON THEM THE DAY OF EVIL;

(4)  DESTROY THEM WITH DOUBLE DESTRUCTION.” 

These WORDS are more powerful than the atom bomb.  As a Christian, you can communicate to the GOD OF HEAVEN – the CREATOR over all and everything. There is nothing the LORD GOD cannot do! Why not call upon HIM? Everything else you’ve put your trust and confidence in has failed you….people backstab you…people lie on you…people cheat on you…people scratch your car….people say they love you and they don’t…people use you for their own edification…people corrupt your children…people present your ideas to management as theirs…and so on.   I DOUBLE-DARE YOU TO CALL UPON THE LORD GOD!

Worldwide News: “Heal Me, O LORD and I SHALL BE HEALED!”

 

The Bible says, “Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.”   (Jeremiah 17:14)   If you mean this, then, say   “HEAL ME, OH LORD and I SHALL BE HEALED; SAVE ME and I SHALL BE SAVED!”

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

In the Old Testament, Prophet Jeremiah was sent to the Kingdom of Judah but they would not listen. He went to various king after king (with exception of Josiah) refused to listen to Jeremiah. What are their names? Answer:  Jehoahaz (Josiah’s son);  Jehoiakim (Josiah’s older son – a puppet king);  Jehoiachin (Jehoiakim’s son);   Zedekiah (Jehoiakim’s brother).  At any time, these kings could have listened to the prophecies and warnings of Prophet Jeremiah to repent and trust in the Lord GOD.  Instead, these thugs wanted it their way.

Like the unbelieving thugs in Scripture, we too have our own minds set on fulfilling our personal needs. What a shame! Many of us have suffered because of our own sins and bad choices.  Instead of calling on the Lord for healing, off to the doctor or psychiatrist we go!

Instead we should go first and foremost to DR. JESUS CHRIST!  If we live according to the WORD of GOD, there is no need to trust completely in the doctor’s word.    Oh!   This is not to say that doctors are not to be respected; but if you get the chance, question your personal physician who is probably seeing a psychiatrist (for depression) and/or he is taking high blood pressure pills.

If you are angry at this Blog, consider the following statement,  “Thus saith the LORD: Cursed be the man that trusteth in man and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. For he shall be like the heath [an uncultivated tract of land covered with low growing shrubs]  in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. ”   (Jeremiah 17:5-6)

Are you still listening?  If you have any doubts or concerns, ask the LORD to come into your life as it is not too late. As long as there is breath in your body, you can call on the JESUS! If there is sickness in your body or your mind needs to be set straight, you must  say and believe these words: “HEAL ME, OH LORD and I SHALL BE HEALED; SAVE ME and I SHALL BE SAVED! ”

Worldwide News: “Like a Tree Planted by the WATER!”

The Bible says,

“BLESSED is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be like as a tree planted by the waters and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:8)   “Like a Tree Planted by the WATERS!”

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

There just ain’t no way to get around talking about the blessings of the Lord!   You are blessed coming in and going out in everything you put your hands to do! Paraphrasing, the Bible says, “…blessings shall run upon you…”   What does this mean?  You may be going about your daily routines running errands but a blessing(s) will find you and overtake you! Many of you have done great things for other people even at your own personal expense. Sometimes, you did not have the extra funds to help others but you found a way. Some of you never asked for the monies to be repaid as it pleased you to help out. Some of you gave up your luxuries, dinners, desserts, movies, and extra spending money to help others. For all of this, the LORD truly sees your sacrifices and HE is blessing you!  OH yea! It may not seem like it but if you woke today (clothed in your right mind) then you are BLESSED.

That’s the way of the LORD GOD who loves us and rains down His goodness upon those who obey His Word. You are   “Like a Tree Planted by the WATERS!”  You ain’t gonna rust out…you aint gonna die of thirst.,..you ain’t gonna fall down,,,you ain’t gonna be chopped down by the root…you ain’t gonna faint in the heat of the day…your leaf ain’t gonna turn brown…your leaf gonna stay green (even in your old age)…you ain’t gonna whittle away.  Instead, your delight is in the LORD GOD who made Heaven and Earth and you are

                    “Like a Tree Planted by the WATERS!”

Worldwide News: ‘WHOSE ON YOUR SIDE!”

 

The Bible says, “And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy GOD hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessings upon Mount Gerizim , and the curse upon Mount Ebal…”   (Deuteronomy 11:29)   Think about this carefully, “WHOSE ON YOUR SIDE?”

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

In the Old Testament, Prophet Moses delivered the message of   “…blessings and cursing…” to the Children of Israel and they had a choice to obey or not to obey. To be or Not to be God’s people! The Lord GOD brought them up out of Egypt with a strong, strong, strong hand and Israel had first-row seats to watch the show. Miraculously, they were delivered from their enemies as they crossed the Red Sea (on dry land). In one blink, Pharaoh and his army were destroyed forever and the Children of Israel did not have to lift one finger.

Just like the Children of Israel, we have the right to make our own choices because we are free agents! We can hang out on Mt. Gerizim or Mount Ebal because it is a personal choice – just as it is my prerogative to write about the goodness of the LORD GOD!

Do you have a host of friends and acquaintances around you?  If so, be careful “WHOSE ON YOUR SIDE?”   Perhaps, you are riding around with a king cobra (who spits out deadly venom) sitting next to you… or perhaps you are sleeping with a python (who ambushes their prey)… or eating with a kangaroo (about to punch you in the face). Whatever you do, please find yourself on the LORD’S side as it is the best umbrella for coverage on Planet Earth and throughout the Universe.

Worldwide news” “The Champagne CUP of the LORD GOD!”

 

The Bible says, “Are THEY not on the other side of Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign [champagne] over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?”   (Deuteronomy 11:30) Do you like the finer things in life and/or “CHAMPAGNE ANYONE?”

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

By now, Prophet Joshua (who succeeded Prophet Moses) was the leader of the Children of Israel into the Promise Land and they first settled in  “….Gilgal….beside the plains of Moreh….”  We all know about their travels, trials, and tribulations for forty (40 ) years in the wilderness. It was time for them to rest and to enter into rest! Most of the evil Israelites were dead and their children entered into the Promise Land – a land flowing with milk and honey!

Truly,   it was the LAND OF CHAMPAGNE!   I didn’t make up this name as it is clearly written in Dt. 11:30. The land was filled with vegetation (figs, large grapes, melons, etc.) and fertile soil.  Can you imagine the natural nutrients in that soil? The land was sparkling with abundance and plenty for all.

This was the guaranteed promise to the Children of Israel.    The Lord GOD made a covenant with Abram,  “In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river Euphrates: the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites, and Jebusites.”   (Genesis 15:18-21)

The Lord GOD fulfills HIS promises but we don’t! Without question, we are the seeds of corruption as reflected throughout the globe –  murdering, killings, beheading, shooting down commercial airplanes…kidnapping innocent women and children…wrecking cities….bombing countries.

Worst of all,  we ignore GOD’s commandment  “…to love they neighbor as thyself…”    Double-dutch worse, we are tearing up the Earth!   Tyrants want the oil, the gold, the diamonds, and they extract all the riches/nutrients from the land. Worst of all,  they want it right now!  But, this is not the “Champagne CUP of the LORD!”

Christians partake of the LORD’S TABLE:   In Matthew 2:26-29,  “JESUS took bread and blessed it and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this My body. And HE took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying DRINK YE ALL OF IT; FOR THIS IS BY BLOOD OF THE NEW TESTAMENT WHICH IS SHED FOR MANY FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS…”   

The LORD’S  Cup is filled with peace, love, forgiveness, joy, abundance, nutrition, life everlasting, the Holy Spirit, and greater expectations! We are not to partake in the “cup of fools!”  Also, we cannot partake of the LORD’S Table and the table of demons.

Therefore, I’m asking the question, do you want to drink from, “The Champagne CUP of the LORD GOD?”

Worldwide News: “IT’S YOUR CHOICE!”

The Bible says,   “Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse:

A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day:  And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.”   (Deuteronomy 11:26-27)   In other words,  “IT’S YOUR CHOICE!”

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

Your guess is right – the Mama says, “Ok, Sylvester eat it all for Mommy!”

Are you suffering because you made the wrong choice?   Sometimes, we have to accept the payment for making wrong decisions and the choices may not be favorable. It may be a matter of life and/or death….it may involve a bad sickness…it may involve financial ruin…it may cause you to lose your wife or husband or son or daughter…it may cause you to lose your job. You get the picture?

Quite easily, we can become the beggar and/or the loser by the choices we make.  It’s a terrible thing to be out of the Will of GOD and it’s a terrible thing to lose one’s family because of infidelity (or some other mistake).  Most of the time, the person who is pursing you don’t want you as much as they want your money, your car, your house, your status, or whatever they can profit from you. However, you’ve made the decision to trade-in the faithful partner for the unfaithful gold-digger.  Stop before it’s too late and you can’t turn back!   Remember, “IT’S YOUR CHOICE!”

Worldwide News: “What HAPPENDS when You PROVOKE the LORD?”

The Bible says,    “And what HE [GOD] did to Dathan and Abiram the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the EARTH opened its mouth and swallowed them up, their households, their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel…”    (Deuteronomy 11:6)    Be careful, “DON’T PROVOKE THE LORD GOD!” 

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

Every body knows that Moses was miraculously spared (as an infant) from Pharaoh’s edict to kill all Hebrew male babies. To spite Pharaoh, God allowed the daughter of Pharaoh to draw the baby from the water, give him the name Moses, and to pay his birth Mother to nurse him! You know the story how GOD ALMIGHTY divided the Red Sea and the Children of Israel walked on dry land but the Egyptians didn’t make it! OMG! You cannot beat the blessings from the Lord ALMIGHTY!

Now, we see Prophet Moses leading the Children of Israel from Egypt into the wilderness. But there were a few knuckle heads (led by Korah, Dathan, Abiram, and 250 followers) in the group who wanted to be the leaders or let’s say “IT.”    Inevitably, they started murmuring and complaining against Moses. (Numbers 16:1-3)  Paraphrasing, the Lord GOD told Moses, “….tell them to come see ME on tomorrow at the tabernacle door and I will choose the men I want…”  

The next day, the protestors arrived and the Lord GOD said to Moses  and  Aaron,  “Separate yourselves from among this congregation that I may consume them in a moment!”  (Numbers 16:21))  Instead,  Moses  and Aaron  “…fell on their faces and said, O GOD, the God of the spirits… of all flesh shall one man sin, and thou be wroth with all the congregation?”    (Numbers 16:22)

Ain’t GOD alright?   These people did not escape punishment! Moses told them that something phenomenal was about to happen, “But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord.”  (Numbers 16:30)

Folks, that’s exactly what happened. Immediately following Moses’ speech, there was a great earthquake (timed by GOD).  The earth split wide open to swallow Korah, Dathan, Abiram, their wives, children, servants, everything they owned, and their followers.  THEY WENT STRAIGHT DOWN INTO SHEOL [HELL] TO THE UNSEEN WORLD OF SPIRITS AND SOULS!

What’s this got to do with us? Honey, we are “…following in the way of Korah…”   We want this, we want that, we ain’t happy, we don’t like our President (he is a black man), we don’t like our husbands and/or wives, we don’t like our relatives…we don’t like our friends….we murmur….we lie on each other…we set up booby-traps for others to fall into…we work long hours…we spend less hours with the family…we take separate vacations…we hide our medical diseases…we change our genders….we do everything and anything which pleases us! 

Be careful, “DON’T PROVOKE THE LORD GOD!”
