Worldwide News: GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD – LOSE YOUR SOUL!”

The Bible states, “For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul ? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”   (Matthew 16:26; Mark 8:36)   What shall a man give in exchange for his soul, rubies, diamonds, pearls, fame, riches, fake glory…what is 20 – 90 years of fake mess to eternity with God?  So many, many people have passed away in 2016 and (more recently) famous celebrities have died in 2016. In light of this, I ask this question what is it to, “GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD – LOSE YOUR SOUL!”

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

Never mind what you think because none of us really know anything about anything because we did not create this world, sun, moon, stars, solar system, planets, various life forms, or the universe and beyond.

In case you don’t understand the language, Luke 9:25 states, “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantage, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?  For whosoever shall be ashamed of Me and of My Words, of him shall the Son of Man be ashamed, when He shall come in His own glory, and in His Father’s and of the holy angels.”

As you may or may not know, many people (poor, rich, old and young) have made packs with the dEVIL and/or the dark side! As the dEVIL promised, these people became rich or live under so-called promises or gratifications. No matter how covered or promised backup coverage seems, no one (including the dEVIL) can escape the ALMIGHTY GOD! Eventually, as you live and sow bad or good seeds, you shall reap the same!  Do you understand?  If your spiritual father is the dEVIL, you will sow bad seeds as he is the father of lies, evil, and seeks only to rob, kill, and destroy.

The SCRIPTURE is saying, if you compromise yourself seeking to save your life, seek fame, fortune, glory, praise from the whole world (AND LEAVE THE ALMIGHTY GOD OUT OF THE PICTURE and OBEDIENCE TO HIS WORD),  you shall  “…gain the world and lose your soul…”   On the other hand, if you seek out the Kingdom of GOD, you may or may not have a peaceful, blissful, rich life here on earth but you will inherit the Kingdom of GOD and eternal life.  In fact, you may be one of the Christians who live from paycheck to paycheck, have wayward kids, bickering family members, can’t make the car note or house repairs, but you have the Spirit of CHRIST in your heart!

Go ahead, continue to gain fame, fortune, riches, land, buy an island, or buy NY NY! No matter where you go or where you run, you will never, never, never, never be able to hide from GOD as nothing is hidden from HIM!    The Word of God says,  “…if you are ashamed of  JESUS CHRIST and His Holy Word,  HE will be ashamed of you before His FATHER and the Holy Angels…”

Eventually, your lifestyle, sickness, disease, famine, poverty, and whatever else will catch up with you. Many people devised pansy schemes to lure people out of money;  some sold bad real estate loans; others stole keepsakes, heirlooms, or land to defraud people;  others came up with terrible investment schemes to get money.  The Word of  GOD states,  “…money is the root of all evil…”

As you have sown in your own life and in the lives of others, you shall also reap the same or the whirlwind. The question is, “Will you be able to withstand payback?”  You may be at the height of your fame (while filming a scene or reciting on stage or walking down the red carpet or playing golf or teaching at the university or governing others) and drop-dead-Fred in a twinkling of an eye.

You may have a writ of good health from your family doctor but that means nothing as the doctor don’t know everything either! Many folks visited the doctor, stepped out to the curbside, and dropped dead! When told their patients died (right after medical visits), many doctors were left speechless!  If old man death comes for you, there is nothing that nobody can do to save you!

Whatever you do, re-EXAMINE YOURSELF!  Why did GOD make you? What did GOD put you on earth to do? What did GOD tell you? What are you productively doing with your time? Are you a menace or help to others? You know yourself better than I but not like the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY knows you! There is time (even if you are on your sick bed, just received bad news, or fatally attracted to evil) to bail out of your mess (right now). Ask the LORD GOD to forgive you, to save you, to turn you around, and to move you away from those who cause evil in your life!  You may have to change your phone number (no forwarding calls), change employment (tell the old employer do not give out information – you may be running from the employer), get a new email (cancel the old email), change your address or move to another state (without a forwarding address).

Finally, ask yourself what is my advantage if I,  “GAIN THE WHOLE WORLD and LOSE MY SOUL!”

Worldwide News: “THE BEST WINE IN TOWN!”

The Bible says, “For these are not drunken as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and  your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.” (Acts 2:15-18)  If you are a believer, don’t worry, you won’t be prophesying, preaching, teaching, seeing dreams out the side of your neck. Get ready for “THE BEST WINE IN TOWN!”

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

Prophet Joel exclaimed, “Hear this, ye old men and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.” (Joel 1:2-3)  This message is for all generations to come.

Among the many blessings and restorations in store for God’s people, Prophet Joel was the first to prophesy before Dr. Luke in Acts 2:15-18 as follows, “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughers shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those day will I pour out my spirit.” (Joel 2:28-29)

The LORD GOD is pouring out of  HIS SPIRIT (THE HOLY GHOST) upon all flesh and not just upon any flesh. Rather, the LORD GOD is pouring out of HIS SPIRIT upon all believers.  Are you a believer? If so, these verses apply to you and I.  We are blessed to receive a portion of the same Holy Spirit which is in THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. You cannot buy this blessing no where on earth.  This same HOLY SPIRIT  hears, speaks, relays, and testifies what He hears directly from THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.  Now you know the identity of the Holy Spirit. 

Characteristics of the HOLY SPIRIT:   

Apostle John quotes the LORD JESUS as follows, “But the COMFORTER, which is the HOLY GHOST whom the Father will send in My name, HE shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have said unto you.”   (*John 14:26)

More so, the HOLY SPIRIT has so many, many, many characteristics of personality such as: Knowledge (I Corinthians 2:11); Will (I Corinthians 12:11; Romans 8:27) ; Mind (Romans 8:27); Love (Romans 5:5; 15:30); Intelligence and Goodness (Nehemiah 9:20); Grief (Ephesians 4:30); Searches (I Corinthians 2:10); Prays (Romans 8:26); Teaches (*John 14:26); 

This is not the kind of wine bibbering you think and it ain’t no time for Scotch or Johnny Walker! Instead, this wine is 100% proof – THE HOLY GHOST! This ain’t the kind of wine that comes in a bottle which most drunks hang around their necks. This WINE (THE HOLY GHOST) comes down from HEAVEN above! HE is a teacher, a revelator, and (to be honest) many other things.

Our GOD is not handing out discount coupons for His people to visit the liquor or package stores. Although these stores never go out of business, our blessings are not in a bottle! The alcohol you get at the liquor stores will make you drunk, incoherent, lazy, slothful in speech, and make a big fool out of you in public. This is not what our GOD is about.

Don’t be misguided by the dEVIL and his ugly demons telling you that “you ain’t gonna make and that God does not love you.” On the contrary, the LORD JESUS died on the CROSS for all mankind. There is no way to count the people of the past, present, and future souls who’ve been given free-will to believe and/or not to believe and all believers will receive a gift(s) from GOD. It’s so simple that a little five year old child can understand it.

JESUS commissioned all believers saying, “Go, ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the HOLY GHOST: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”   (Matthew 28:19-20)

Thus, believers are not to go out into the world dranking Johnny Walker. Instead, we’ve been given “THE BEST WINE IN TOWN!”

Worldwide News: “THE BEST INSURANCE POLICY & BEST RATE ON EARTH!”

 

The Bible says, “I WILL lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from when cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. HE will not suffer thy foot to be moved: HE that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: HE shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” (Psalm 121:1-8)    “THE BEST INSURANCE POLICY & THE BEST RATE ON EARTH!”

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

When you are crossing the street, you don’t look down at the dirt. Instead you routinely look to the right and left and up to make sure you are safe from harms way. Although the light may be in your favor, you still have to be careful. If there is a speeding car, you remain on the curb and jump backwards a few feet to ensure your safety. In fact, you may yell outloud to others, “Get back that car is speeding…”  For all you know, the driver may be drunk, heavily on drugs, running from the cops, or intending to endanger others. These days, one never knows.

Well now, it’s the end of the year (or open enrollment) and everyone is looking for new insurance policies. Do you need a new policy?   I want you to pay special attention to Psalm 121:1-8. If you have been let down by others, layed-off your job, fired, divorced, discouraged, frustrated, discontent, you need to read this Blog! 

No matter your status (rich or poor), you need a higher authority in your life. As you know, you did not wake up yourself, the LORD GOD allowed you to get up today!  King David is the writer of Psalm 121:1-8 and he knew exactly what he was talking about!  David was hated by many of his own people who preferred king Saul (but Saul took his own life!) and David was hated by surrounding enemies (seen and unseen). Like king David, your enemies may be jealous of your successes and happy for your failures in life. Whatever the case, you don’t need to give-in or give-up the ghost because folks don’t like you. RUN ON WITH JESUS – anyhow!

Here is what king David said:

(1)  I WILL lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from when cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD.  In other words, I ain’t gonna look at my mama, daddy, sister, brother, friends or spouse. I’m gonna LOOK UP to the LORD because HE made heaven and earth!  Even more, the Lord made me and HE knows all about stupid me!

(2)  HE will not suffer thy foot to be moved: HE that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.  In other words, the LORD will not let me slip or fall and HE never sleeps!  If I fall its because of my own errors and ways; but I’m gonna get=up and repent.  I’m gonna stop acting foolish, silly, and stupid!  And,  the LORD will have mercy, compassion, and restore me as HE is a keeper of those who diligently seek HIM.

(3)  The LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day nor the moon by night. In other words, the sun or moon ain’t gonna blast me with gamma rays neither by day or night. In fact, none of the stars or extraterrestrial objects shall fall on me!  The LORD sees and knows all. In fact, the LORD  created the universe and beyond. Whatever HE says,  they obey!

(4)  The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: HE shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” In other words, the LORD will keep me from all evil the dEVIL designed for me. My body, spirit, and soul shall be preserved and my going out and coming in as well.

Finally, I must make this statement – I have an everlasting insurance policy and it’s FREE!  If you can find a better INSURANCE POLICY with no huge premium and no monthly payments, please take it but AS FOR ME, I WILL SERVE THE LORD GOD!  Why?  I have  “THE BEST INSURANCE POLICY & THE BEST RATE ON EARTH!”

Worldwide News: “Don’t Act Like You Accomplished Success On Your OWN!”

The Bible says, “OH that men would praise the LORD for His goodness and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.”  (Psalm 107:8-9)  Although the alarm clock went off, you did not wake up yourself. The Lord GOD allowed you to see another day! Somewhere in the World, the alarm clock is still ringing and the individual did not wake up. He or she did not get up to shower, eat, dress, take the bus to school, or drive to work. Give honor to whom honor is due, “Don’t Act Like You Accomplished Success On Your OWN!”

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

If you are reading this Blog, you own a computer, have Internet/phone service, or a smart phone, live in an apartment, house, rent a room, own a car, bicycle, or motor bike, have eyes to see, ears to hear, a mouth to speak and eat, appetites for certain foods and beverages, visit friends, go to concerts, ride the subway, drive a taxi, teach in a school, jogger, work in the medical field, a specialist of many sorts, inventor, extremely intelligent, possess an low, average or high IQ, like to dance, like to skip school, procrastinator, convincing liar (sometimes), two-timer behind your girlfriend or spouse’s back, a good/poor father/mother, good/bad teenager, good/poor grandmother/grandfather, convict, judge, lawyer, president, prime minister, congressman, senator, bus/taxi driver, cook, housecleaner, gardener, etc. I think you get the idea.

Whatever or whoever you are, you need to “…thank and praise the Lord for HIS goodness and for HIS wonderful works to the children of men.”   It’s a miracle the LORD GOD even thinks about us because we put ourselves and personal endeavors before the HIM.  The LORD ain’t got to do nothing for us but He chooses too. The Word of God says,  “God rains upon the good and the bad…the just and the unjust…”   and we all I fit into both of these categories because “…there is NONE good but the FATHER [GOD].” Some days we are good and some days we cuss like sailors!  Oh no, not you? Just let the car behind you speed up to pass you on the road and blow smoke in your face (I promise you won’t say, “Praise the Lord”).  Of course, you’ll quickly repent, “Lord, forgive me!”
