Worldwide News: “YOU AIN’T ALONE!”

The Bible says (spoken by Apostle Paul),

“I SAY then, Hath GOD cast away His people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God hath not cast away His people which He foreknew.”   (Romans 11:1-2)   God has millions of people who are serving HIM throughout the World. In fact, Propert Elijah (who killed the 450 prophets of Baal) thought he was the only one left serving the LORD GOD, but God said, “I have reserved to Myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.”   (Romans 11:4) Thus, “YOU AIN’T ALONE!” 

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

I know most of you are tired of this and that as many things are out-of-wack in your lives. Maybe some of the following problems are happening to you: yesterday or last week or last month the car broke down, a family member went into the hospital, the doctor wants to see you in his office, your teen or adult step-son or daughter is acting up, the job is getting funny (lay-offs coming), the medical bills are mounting, the fixtures on the house must wait til next year, the roof is leaking, the air conditioner went out, the car or truck needs new tires, you have no extra money for this or that, etc. 

Well now, Apostle Paul (previously called Saul of Tarsus) was the chief of sinners as he persecuted many Christians. But one day, the LORD JESUS CHRIST met Saul on his way to Damascus to arrest, torture, and persecute more Christian believers. Guess what? The Lord knocked Saul off his pompous block to the ground and blinded him for three days until someone special (Ananias, a devout Christian living in Damascus) came to pray for him.

You see, GOD used Apostle Paul to bring the Gospel to Jews and Gentiles! Truly, I believe GOD looked down from Heaven and said, “I’m gonna used this self-righteous man to take the Gospel to the World!”   For this (and many other reasons), Apostle Paul  could talk, educate, preach, write New Testament Books in the Bible, and evangelize the World concerning the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! But, there is a price to pay if you serve the Lord.  Apostle Paul received the same services of attacks that he caused upon others! He was beaten, run out of town, ship-wrecked, stoned and left for dead, jailed, mistreated, talked about, and yet he saw the glorified CHRIST!

God hath not cast away His people which He foreknew. As you know, God knew us before we knew ourselves. Before GOD formed us in our Mother’s womb, HE knew us! Amen! Amen! Amen! Like Apostle Paul (a former bigot, pious punisher, and pursuer of Christians)  who was not tossed to the garbage can, GOD WILL NOT CAST YOU AWAY!   If youse reading this Blog, you ain’t dead and so there is hope, mercy, and grace in Christ! The LORD GOD could have taken you last night, but HE did not! 

Concerning Apostle Paul, many of us would have shot him on sight (without question) and/or hired bounty hunters or sharp shooters to take him out.  Instead, the Glorified CHRIST appeared to Saul and commissioned him as a Christian General!  Once again, “YOU AIN’T ALONE!”

Worldwide News: “GOD WILL REPAY YOUR ENEMIES!”

The Bible says,

“Dearly Beloved, avenge not yourselves but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written Vengeance is Mine: I will repay, saith the Lord.”    (Romans 12:19)   Meditate on this, “God Will Repay Your Enemies!”

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME: 

If ever a time to read the Word of God, the time is right now!

As Christians (including those seeking to become Christians), we’ve got to obey every Word of GOD!  You cannot cherry pick certain Biblical rules to obey and/or disobey!  You’ve got to eat the whole role or nothing!  As you know, there are good people in hell!

The best thing to do is to move over and let the Lord have his way and don’t you “…give place unto wrath…”  We all know this is a rotten World and many governing officials (not all) are not God fearing individuals. Never-the-less, we cannot take matters into our own hands by shooting folks,  blowing up buildings, marching on the capital, lynching folks, or whatever.   Apostle Paul says, “Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.”  (Romans 12:17-18)

Sometimes, we think being a nice person and obeying the Word of God makes us look like silly fools. Honey, you is wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, and double-dutch wrong! Let’s assume you want very bad things to happen to your enemies or God to knock them out flat in the street.  I don’t blame you!

But seemingly, your enemy prospers with a brand new house, car, businesses, wealth, prosperity, and so forth. Let’s say, twenty years go by and he is still striving strong. Unlike your enemy, you lost your job, car, or home and your children are not enrolled in an ivy league school or college. Yet, you are still holding on to God’s Word and your reward seems so little.

Let’s look at an additional ten years later.  You recovered your losses and your children are in good colleges but your enemy lost everything and his children became dope heads! Folks are shaking their heads and talking about how your enemy has fallen to the rocks below.  Whatever you do, pray for him or her.  My Mama use to say,  “Don’t be happy-glad that he or she failed…feel sorry for them.” 

My point is this….GOD’S DIVINE JUSTICE is right on target in and out-of-season. Don’t you worry about your enemies, wicked people, lying lawyers, dishonest judges, corrupt politicians, etc., because the LORD ALMIGHTY has a certain reward and cell in hell for them!   Again,  “God Will Repay Your Enemies!”

Worldwide News: “LOVE YOUR ENEMIES!”

The Bible says,   “Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor and hate thine enemy.  BUT,  I SAY UNTO YOU, LOVE YOUR ENEMIES, BLESS THEM THAT HATE YOU, AND PRAY FOR THEM WHICH DESPITEFULLY USE YOU, AND PERSECUTE YOU; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in Heaven: for He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans the same?  And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect..”   (Matthew 5:43-48)   So,  “LOVE YOUR ENEMIES!”

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

There is nothing worse than having to treat an enemy as if they are a nice person. What’s nice about someone who talks about you….lies on you…digs ditches for you…goes with your husband or wife (behind your back)….messes up the lives of your children or family members…scratches your vehicle…poisons your dog or cat…destroys your property…messes with you at work…inaccurately grades your exams…etc.?   Rather than to pray for them, you hope their teeth will fall out!

However, you can’t follow the laws of Constance because Constance ain’t got no heaven or hell to put you in. You cannot justify your own actions if they are contrary to the Word of God. You can’t do what Mama or Daddy says, if they are full of confusion.

So let’s carefully look at the Word of God:

(1) Love your enemies;

(2) Bless them that hate you;

(3) Pray for them which despitefully use you;

(4) Pray for them which persecute you. 

Don’t you know that GOD looks down on your enemies and HE ain’t missed a beat. Don’t you recall the story of Cain who killed his brother, Abel ?  Cain was insanely jealous of Abel’s offering of his best to God. Instead of murdering his brother, Cain should have asked God, “How can I please you Lord?”  In punishment, God made Cain a fugitive and put a mark upon his forehead to prevent someone from killing him!   You see, there is no escape from the Almighty God!

If GOD does not send down a bolt of lightning to strike down your enemy, there is nothing you can do to hurt your enemy or enemies them except, love them…bless them…pray for them.  As the Word states, “God maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”     The same sun shines on their heads and the same rain falls upon them as well.  Might I add, they breathe the same air as you!  Show nough, your enemy(ies) may act like monkeys, baboons, or cunning fools but don’t you do the monkeyshine on them!  The LORD GOD has a plan for them just as HE has a plan for you.

Let the light of Christ Jesus shine in your life, “That ye may be the children of your Father which is in Heaven…”   Thus, “LOVE YOUR ENEMIES!”

Worldwide News: “WHEN YOUR ENEMIES FALL, DON’T REJOICE!”

The Bible says,  “Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Lest the LORD see it, and it displease HIM, and HE turn away HIS wrath from him.”   (Proverbs 24:17-18)   Remember, “WHEN YOUR ENEMIES FALL, DON’T REJOICE!” 

BRING IT DOWN ON HOME:

This is quite a lesson as many of us have been insulted, laughed at, talked about, lied on, mistreated, knocked down, made to miss multiple blessings, blocked from promotions, finances wiped out, spiritually and physically destroyed by our enemies. Some of these people we thought to be our bosom friends are the enemies!

If its any comfort to you, they were used by the dEVIL and his demons to hurt you. Certainly, there is an element of jealously which prompted them (including tons of drama) but the real enemy is not your friend or people in general. Our common enemy is the dEVIL who is parading in many colors, characters, and outfits to deceive millions of people because the time is winding up. Like it or not, JESUS IS COMING BACK AGAIN!

Yes Lawd!  It’s very hard not to hate your enemies especially if he/she/them caused loss of life or lives, severe devastation, and have ruined your life and others. Look at the headlines in the news – everyday there is a tragic story of somebody hurting or killing others.  For example, a woman ran over her boyfriend in Phoenix because he was HIV positive and didn’t tell her. To make matters worse, he laughed at the matter! So, the woman drove her Mustang vehicle into her boyfriend (who was riding a bike) and knocked him to kingdom come. Sure, he survived but she’s in jail for aggravated assault.  Did she have the right to be angry?  The answer is “YES.”   But, the WORD OF GOD states,  “Be angry and sin not…” 

What can we do when our enemies come against us? I can hear yawl hollering, “It just ain’t fair that people get away with their mess!  They told a big fat lie on me and I’m supposed to love her/him/them?  I lost my job because of them.  I lost my house. I lost my car because of him.  I lost my kids because what they said.  People look at me funny because of what  he/she said about me.  I want their teeth to fall out…I want them to suffer as I suffered…I want their hair to fall out and their knees to knock against each other…I want them to get warts all over their face…I want his balls to fall off…I want them to drown in the sea…”   Well now, I hear you baby but I’m also subjected to the Word of God just like you.   So, let’s go to the Bible for answers because if you take matters into your own hands you just might make a mistake that may put you up under the jail house – and you won’t be rocking like Elvis song, “Jail House Rock!”

JESUS said,

(1) “Ye heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor and hate thine enemy…”

(2) “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you…”

(3) “That ye may be the children of your Father which is in Heaven…”

(4) “For He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust…”

(5) “For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans the same? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect.”

In HIS own timing, GOD will pay them back as  “…vengeance belongs to GOD!”     Bare in mind the following. If you gets happy-glad over the butt-whipping GOD lays on your enemies and GOD sees you laughing and hi-fiving folks, HE will turn away HIS wrath from your enemies!   Why?   GOD ALREADY DONE TOLD YOU WHY AND HOW COME!   You should love your enemies and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you.   I did not make up this command as I got it straight out-of-the Bible.  Remember, “WHEN YOUR ENEMIES FALL, DON’T REJOICE!”
